Corsica
Bastia

The working port city in the north — gritty, atmospheric, and the gateway to Cap Corse.
Bastia is Corsica's second city and main commercial port — the entry point for Italian ferries (Livorno, Savona) and the base for Cap Corse exploration. Vieux Port, the citadel of Terra Nova, and the densest concentration of authentic island bistros. Less polished than Ajaccio, more authentic than Calvi.
