Town of ~80,000 on the Argentine side of the Iguazú River. Centred on Avenida Victoria Aguirre and Hito Tres Fronteras (Three Borders Point — view of Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina meeting). Hostels start at USD 25/night, mid-range hotels USD 90, and the high-end Loi Suites and Iguazu Grand sit just out of town. Restaurants serve dorado fish, surubí river fish, and Argentine asado. Buses to the park run every 20 min during peak hours.
