Seoul
Hongdae & Sinchon

Seoul's university and arts district — the K-pop buskers, the club scene, and the most energetic neighbourhood in the city.
Hongdae is the neighbourhood around Hongik University and is where Seoul's youth culture concentrates: street busking, independent clothing shops, clubs that run to 9am, and a café scene that spawns trends. The Sinchon area adjacent has a slightly older student population. It's loud, high-energy, and completely unlike the curated luxury of Gangnam.
