Batumi
Green Cape & Botanical Garden

108-hectare botanical garden on a sub-tropical promontory — the largest in the Caucasus, year-round green.
9km north of Batumi, founded in 1912 by Andrey Krasnov on the Green Cape (Mtsvane Kontskhi). The garden contains thousands of sub-tropical species across nine geographic sections — Himalayan, East Asian, Mediterranean, North American — and ends at clifftops over the Black Sea. The surrounding village has eco-lodges and a quieter pebble beach (Mtsvane Kontskhi beach). Best for nature-first travellers and those wanting a quieter base than central Batumi.
