Phu Xuan & Perfume River South

The Royal Tombs corridor — peaceful, scenic, and the right base for a slow, contemplative Hue experience.
The southern bank of the Perfume River, stretching toward the Royal Tombs of Tu Duc, Minh Mang, and Khai Dinh, is a quieter alternative to the citadel district. Small boutique hotels and homestays here offer direct views of the river, the commute to the major tombs is short by bicycle or motorbike, and the pace is genuinely slower. Thien Mu Pagoda — arguably Hue's most photogenic landmark — is also on this southern approach by river.
