Central-island family town — pine-shaded coves, calm harbour, half the price of Hvar Town.
Jelsa sits at the geographic centre of the island on the north coast, midway between Stari Grad and the lavender-growing east. The harbour is small and walkable; pine-shaded coves (Mina, Grebišće) sit a 10-minute walk along the coast path. Bigger and busier than Stari Grad, much cheaper and quieter than Hvar Town. Solid family base.
