Plaka is the postcard — Cycladic-cube alleys, the kastro ruins and Panagia Korfiatissa church for the best sunset on the island. Plathiena is a small sandy cove 15 minutes' walk downhill, often empty even in August. The area also covers the painted boat-doors of Klima fishing village just below.
