Seattle
Fremont & Queen Anne

The self-proclaimed centre of the universe — hipster Fremont troll, Sunday market, and Gasworks Park on Lake Union.
Fremont declared itself the "centre of the universe" and largely lives up to the billing: the neighbourhood's famous troll sculpture under the Aurora Bridge, the Sunday farmers market, the Lenin statue, and the Theo Chocolate factory give it a personality unlike anywhere else in Seattle. Queen Anne to the south is the elevated residential district with some of the city's finest views of downtown, Puget Sound, and Mt Rainier on clear days. Together they form the most liveable and locally distinctive part of Seattle west of Capitol Hill.
