Siargao
Dapa & the North

Ferry-port town with the public market, local life and a much cheaper base.
Dapa is the ferry port from Surigao and one of two main service towns. Has the public market, hospital, banks and the working harbour. Most travellers pass through on arrival; few stay. North of Dapa toward Del Carmen sits the mangrove-fringed western coast — quieter, with eco-resorts and proper local life. A practical base if you want supermarket access and significantly lower nightly rates than GL.

The surf and social capital — Cloud 9 reef on your doorstep, GL beachfront for everything else.
Wild northern beaches — Pacifico's long break, off-grid eco-resorts, mangroves at Del Carmen.
