The surf and social capital — Cloud 9 reef on your doorstep, GL beachfront for everything else.
Where 90% of Siargao's travellers stay. General Luna (GL) is the main town with the longest beachfront strip of cafés, surf schools, hostels and bars; Cloud 9 is the boardwalked surf break 3km north, the right-hand reef that put the island on the global map. The Tourism Road between them is lined with açai bars, vegan spots, fire-spinner nights and full-moon parties.
