Fateh Sagar Lake Area

Wider promenade and local lunch spots around Udaipur's second lake, far fewer tourists.
Fateh Sagar is the larger lake to the north of Pichola, fringed by a wide promenade popular with Udaipur residents for morning walks and evening cycling. The NID (National Institute of Design) campus brings a creative, younger local crowd; dhabas and local restaurants far outnumber tourist-facing cafes. It's the most liveable neighbourhood for longer stays at prices 20–40% below the old city.
