Siargao
Sugba Lagoon & the South

Day-trip country — turquoise lagoon, Naked Island sandbar, island-hopping launches.
Not so much a staying district as a circuit. The southern bay of Siargao, accessed from Del Carmen by 30-min boat, contains Sugba Lagoon — a turquoise mangrove-fringed pool with the famous wooden diving platform. From GL's boats, the three-island tour (Naked, Daku, Guyam) heads south as well. A few stilt-house resorts (Tikuy Camp) exist for travellers who want to wake up in the lagoon itself.
