Jeju
Seogwipo & South Coast

The southern town and most cinematic stretch of Jeju coast — waterfalls cliffing into the sea, Olle trail head, the resort and cafe heartland.
Seogwipo is Jeju's second city, on the warmer south coast. Cheonjiyeon and Jeongbang waterfalls drop directly into the ocean (Jeongbang is one of only three waterfalls in Asia to do so). The Olle Trail walking route starts here and circles the island. The Jusangjeolli columnar basalt cliffs (Daepo) and Yakcheonsa Temple are short drives. Most of the island's big resorts (Shilla, Lotte, Park Hyatt) cluster nearby at Jungmun. Cafe and brunch culture is heavy along the coastal road — Cafe Mongo Hotel, Wave Crest. The most cinematic Jeju visit happens here.
