Kruger National Park
Lower Sabie

Riverfront rest camp east of Skukuza — the most-photographed Kruger lodge, with the deck over Sabie River and the iconic Sunset Dam.
Lower Sabie is the smaller, more atmospheric sibling of Skukuza — sitting directly on the Sabie River 35km east. The Mugg & Bean restaurant deck is the single most-photographed Kruger spot, with elephant herds drinking 50m below the railing. Sunset Dam at the camp's entrance is famous for lion-and-buffalo standoffs at dusk. Roads west toward Skukuza (H4-1) and south toward Crocodile Bridge (H4-2) are wildlife-dense. Bookings here harder to get than Skukuza — book exactly 11 months ahead at 05:00 SAST.
